Medics – Now 99% swear words free!

Ah… Medics.
Like ’em, hate ’em, can’t live without ’em.

Most people start playing as Medic because they are either…
1. Bored
2. Tired of killing people (lolwut).

Most people presume that Medics are much easier to play than the other classes, mostly because a Medic’s targets want the Medics to target them, as opposed to other classes’ targets dodging their fire.

However, it is actually pretty challenging to be an effective Medic. When TF2 first came out, the game saw many noobs who did not even know that you can knock off sappers with two wrench hits, and Spys did not have to fear constant spy-checking. Ah, the nostalgic good-ol’-days. Back then, Medics just had to aim and heal to be effective, and once in a while blow an Ubercharge.
However, nowadays, medics must be masters at dodging all types of fire. They cannot stay still at all for more than half a second, and are the highest-priority targets for 85% of the time (other 15% = Snipers 🙂 ).

Skilled Medics can be the one thing a team may need to push all the way through and win a round, or even a map. A buffed HWG is 150 HP more harder to stop than a softened-up 300 HP Heavy.

Remember, gamers. Your team will give you props if you go Medic when your team needs it, so next time your team is losing, try switching up!
